Thoughts on Favorite Books and Resources
This devotion book is a treasure chest full of priceless gems and theological gold. Prof. Paustian packs each devotion with so much to think about and meditate on that it sometimes requires the devotion being read a couple times to uncover new treasures. It has become part of my weekly devotional life as I read one devotion each Sunday morning as part of my personal preparations for worship. This book has greatly enriched my worship life, even as a pastor. – Jeremiah Gumm (King of Kings, Maitland, FL) on Our Worth to Him
Everyone at some point in their life will have to deal with grief. I appreciate how this book touches on so many different stages and types of loss. In my ministry this book has been more valuable than I ever realized it would be. I have used it with members after the loss of a loved one, and my members have in turn used it with others. – Aaron Duve (Holy Redeemer, Port Huron, MI) on With Tears in Our Eyes
A classic by Deutschlander with great insights into the crosses we carry. – Joel Pankow (Trinity, Bay City, MI) on The Theology of the Cross
