Letter From the Editor – How Remote Sunday School Blesses Your Members
Dear fellow shepherds of God’s flock, Recognizing that many congregations were unable to offer face-to-face Sunday school this fall, NPH began providing video Sunday school lessons taught by gifted teachers that families could watch at home. The program has been very well received. Since beginning in the fall, each week’s lesson averages over 2,000 views.…

Using Tech to Create Connections, Part Four—Connecting Student and Content
As Jesus was leaving the temple courts, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, look what impressive stones these are, and what impressive buildings!” Jesus said to him, “Do you see these large buildings? There will not be one stone here left on top of another. They will all be thrown down.” (Mark 13:1,2)…

The Lesson
Jesus asked the master of the house to send his youngest child into the room. He wanted his followers to think about the unique qualities of childhood. It was a good way to focus their attention. Childhood is a universal human experience. But Jesus also understood that adults quickly forget what childhood is like. His…

The Peacemaker’s Calling, Part 3
In preparation for our peacemaking service, we’ve been washed and purified in the Lamb’s innocent blood. The good news of our forgiveness (washing) in Christ is our hope—the very air that we breathe. Letter From the Editor: Sharing Deutschlander’s Love of Theology
Dear brothers, For the past few weeks I have been thinking about our now sainted brother in Christ, Daniel Deutschlander. As you no doubt know, the Lord called Dan home to heaven last month. All who knew him, whether personally or through his writings, will miss him. We thank the Lord for giving him the…

The mission of Northwestern Publishing House is to deliver biblically sound, Christ-centered resources within the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and beyond. As the publisher for and subsidiary of the WELS, NPH has been a 501(c)(3) organization since 1966. This means that NPH is recognized as a non-profit and tax-exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
We have fulfilled our mission for over 130 years. While publishing is much different today than when we first began, our ministry of serving others with the good news of salvation remains. God has blessed NPH with dedicated and gifted servants who daily carry out his work. We are deeply thankful for the people who have been instrumental in our ministry in years past and who play a role today.
To God be the glory!
