Does either of the following expressions describe your approach to teaching your children? “Do as I say, not as I do.” Or, “Monkey see, monkey do.” Neither is totally effective. A better saying would be— “Learn from what I teach you, and watch what I do.”

Mike eased the car to a stop, jumped out, and hurriedly hugged his two children as they struggled to shoulder their backpacks. Then they were off, running up the ramp on the way to their classrooms. They would be just in time, but he would be late for work. As he merged back onto the

In Eden, before sin changed everything, Adam and Eve knew only one heart condition. Their hearts were always and only at peace with the Creator. They also were at peace with his creation, and with each other. In absolute terms, everything was right in those relationships. God provided for their every need.

About Us

The mission of Northwestern Publishing House is to deliver biblically sound, Christ-centered resources within the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and beyond. As the publisher for and subsidiary of the WELS, NPH has been a 501(c)(3) organization since 1966. This means that NPH is recognized as a non-profit and tax-exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service.

We have fulfilled our mission for over 130 years. While publishing is much different today than when we first began, our ministry of serving others with the good news of salvation remains. God has blessed NPH with dedicated and gifted servants who daily carry out his work. We are deeply thankful for the people who have been instrumental in our ministry in years past and who play a role today.

To God be the glory!
