Love in Gethsemane
“Being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground” (Luke 22:44). Places are important to us. Like our homes, however humble but filled with love. Like our churches, whatever their styles but filled with love. Even more so with the places of the passion. Those spots…

Our King Enters Knowing All
As they approached Jerusalem, at Bethphage and Bethany, on the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples and told them, “Go into the village ahead of you. As soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it here.…

Keep Your Eyes on the Goal
“I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the…

This, the fulfillment of the first gospel promise heard by Adam and Eve in a once-perfect garden. This, the completion of our Savior’s 33 years of living perfectly in our place and dying…

The mission of Northwestern Publishing House is to deliver biblically sound, Christ-centered resources within the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and beyond. As the publisher for and subsidiary of the WELS, NPH has been a 501(c)(3) organization since 1966. This means that NPH is recognized as a non-profit and tax-exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
We have fulfilled our mission for over 130 years. While publishing is much different today than when we first began, our ministry of serving others with the good news of salvation remains. God has blessed NPH with dedicated and gifted servants who daily carry out his work. We are deeply thankful for the people who have been instrumental in our ministry in years past and who play a role today.
To God be the glory!
