Trusted Answers for Your Faith Questions

When you have a question about the Bible or your Christian faith, where do you turn for an answer?

A quick Google search can bring up thousands of results. Some may be helpful. Others may leave you with more questions than answers. And some may present ideas that sound convincing but don’t agree with what God tells us in his Word.

In a world full of information, it helps to know where you can turn for answers you can trust.

Google has a feature that can help. With Google’s Preferred Sources, you can tell Google which websites and publishers you value. When you select a source, Google will show you more of its content when it’s relevant to what you’re searching for. Your preferred sources can also appear more prominently in Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode.

It’s a simple way to make your Google experience a little more personal—and to make it easier to find content from sources you already know and trust.

We’d love for NPH to be one of those sources for you.

At Northwestern Publishing House, we exist to “deliver biblically sound Christ-centered resources within the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) and throughout the world.” With God’s help, our goal is to always be your trusted source of quality Lutheran materials that are faithful to the Scriptures.

That mission shapes everything we publish—including our blog.

Whether you’re looking for encouragement, exploring a question about the Bible, or simply wanting to grow in your understanding of God’s Word, the NPH blog is where you can find answers grounded in Scripture and centered on Christ.

So the next time you’re searching for answers, we hope you’ll think of NPH as a source you can trust. In a sea of search results, it’s good to have a familiar place to turn.

Ultimately, our goal is more than simply helping you find information. We want to help you find the certainty, peace, and hope God gives us through his Word—and to keep pointing you to Jesus.

Click the button below or in the header at the top of the page to add the NPH blog as a Preferred Source for answers grounded in Scripture and centered on Christ.

Please note: You need to have a Google account and be signed in to use this feature.

It says nph is not a preferred source. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, Barb, sorry for the technical trouble! Please note that you need to have a Google account and be signed in to use the “Preferred Source” feature. If you’re using a different email account, that might be why it isn’t working. God’s blessings on your day!

I use the Peoples Bible to answer questions about the Bible. It is the best source for reliable information. I would never trust Google to explain scripture.

Thank you for sharing this! We’re grateful that you use The People’s Bible series to find reliable, Scripturally sound answers to your questions about God’s Word. It’s a wonderful resource for studying the Bible and answering those questions.

Many people today turn to Google when they have questions about Scripture, whether or not they’re familiar with resources like The People’s Bible series. Having this blog as a preferred source helps those people find reliable, Scripturally sound answers, along with references to the People’s Bible and other Christ-centered resources NPH publishes.

      God’s blessings on your day!
